A MUM has shared how she made an epic monster truck track for her kids so they didn’t have to tear up the grass in the garden.

Charlotte Smith shared photos of the creation on Facebook and said it only cost her £6.

Taking to Facebook, Charlotte said: “Anyone else have one of those kids who want something you just can’t buy?

“My kids were fed up with pushing their monster trucks around the garden and asked for a track after searching the internet.

“Nothing good came up so 24 hours later and £6 spent, this is the outcome.

“A happy 5 year old and 2 year old hot wheels monster jam track.”

Charlotte told Fabulous how she used a free pallet and covered it with an old piece of fabric.

She then screwed down some wood to make ramps, added a tube to make a tunnel and then put a couple of bricks to build up the areas.

Her only expense was a £2 bag of sand and £4 cement from B&Q.

She added: “I covered over what we had screwed down, used some old garden stones to make the tracks, used an old Christmas tree to make the trees.

“I added a lick of paint and was done.

“It took 24 hours from start to finish.”
