Many teachers took to the comments to reveal that they agreed with the points and in particular found the water bottles and tie-up shoes a real nightmare.

One person said: “The bottles are the worst by a mile. Every time they fall over it distracts the kids for 10 minutes or more”.

Another added: “Fruit with the skin. Oh I feel this”.

A third commented: “Hard relate. Like we haven't got anything better to do than tie shoelaces multiple times an hour”.

Another stated: “I’m a secondary teacher and those water bottles do my head in. Even teenagers spill them everywhere!”

Meanwhile another said: “So anything you have to help them with, I don’t blame ya. They take their shoes off ten times a day” to which the teacher replied “When it’s 1 adult and 25 children it just takes a while. Independence is key!!”

One mum asked: “What’s up with the bottles? My son's other bottles used to leak all the time. That's the only type that doesn’t” to which the teacher confirmed “Young children especially don’t actually screw the lids back on properly but just sit them on the desk. Inevitably they then fall over and spill”.
