IF you’ve ever tried to style your hair when it’s not been washed for a while, you’ll know it can be tricky.

But a beauty and hair expert has revealed her top tips for getting perfect locks even when your do is greasy.

Influencer Amelia Olivia, who regularly shares hair and make-up tutorial videos, recently posted a new one dedicated to how she achieves perfect hair despite not washing it for eight days.

Amelia, aka @amelia0livia told her 776,600 TikTok followers: “I’ve not washed my hair for eight days.

“Loads of you ask how I style my hair when it’s dirty and greasy, so I’m going to show you.”

She then lifted her roots to show her followers how her hair was in good condition as she’d used dry shampoo the day before.

Amelia then took her followers through a step-by-step guide to achieving locks that look freshly washed.

“First, just spray some dry shampoo on your parting and under here,” she explained as she lifted back her hairline.

She continued: “Whilst that’s sitting there, take this dry texturising spray and just spray it literally everywhere.”

After saying it makes your hair smell like you’ve stepped straight out of an expensive salon, Amelia began to separate her hair, pulling a small section to the front ready to be styled.
