METALLIC Swim by Kim Kardashian has been receiving mixed reviews from customers.

One woman gave her honest opinion of the swimsuits from the Skims brand in a YouTube video.

YouTuber and fashion expert Mia Maples shared her review of four different swimsuits she purchased for a total of $522.

She starts her video off by saying: “Today we are going to be trying the Skims Swim Metallic collection!”

Before modeling the first swimsuit from her haul, Mia inspects the material.

“Everything is really well made from a sewing perspective. I don’t see any loose ends — it’s all very crisp,” she says.

After that, she tries the swimsuit for her viewers to see.

It’s the Metallic Swim Bandeau Bikini Top for $48 paired with the Metallic Swim Dipped Tie Bottoms that are also $48.

“This is an $80 dollar top — this doesn’t look good,” she says pulling at the strap.

“This isn’t the most flattering look on me… for sure not.

“We’re getting a little bit of a wedgie moment and I’m pretty sure that’s by design, purposeful, and supposed to happen,” she says while pointing out the fabric near her crotch and bottom.

Next, Mia tries on the Metallic Swim Cycle Suit which costs $128.

Before trying it on, Mia says: “Something about the metallic looks really expensive, but it also looks really cheap in my opinion.”

After trying it on, Mia says: “I’m actually really enjoying the fit. It’s just really comfortable and it’s also kind of relaxing and nice…”

The third swimsuit in Mia’s haul is the Metallic Swim Mock Neck Tank which costs $64, the Metallic Swim Dipped Mid Waist Bottoms which cost $48, and the Metallic Swim Sarong Mini Skirt which costs $78.

It feels like the type of swimsuit that is used for photo ops or just lounging and not going in the water. Which is not really my thing — I like to swim.

“It actually has a decent amount of coverage on the front. So thank you, Kim! But for a beach day, it’s looking very disheveled.”

Finally, Mia tries on the Metallic Swim Cut-Out Monokini that costs $108.

“Is this not the exact same design that Kylie [Jenner] had?” she asks while holding it up.

While modeling the monokini, Mia says: “I feel good about it. Definitely another show-stopping piece.”

She received tons of feedback in her comment section.

Another YouTuber posted: "The prices are crazy overpriced… simply because they can use their name and people will spend I feel they take advantage."
