THIS woman decided to take a risk and fork out £122 for a returns pallet from Argos.

Although she didn't know exactly what would be inside, she did know that it would be full of 'nursery supplies' when she placed her winning bid.

When the pallet arrived it was much bigger than savvy shopper Holly expected, so she began unpacking it outside with her partner, Callum.

In the video, which Holly posted on her YouTube channel, she admitted, "I'm really nervous because this is a returns pallet, so it could be items peoples have returned because they didn't want them, or it could be faulty items."

Straight away her gamble paid off as the pair discovered a host of useful items including a baby gate which had a stuck button that they reckoned they could fix.

There was also a second baby gate that was brand new with no faults.

They also unboxed a pushchair worth £139.99, in a follow up video Holly said: "Most of the parts for this were brand new and sealed.

"We're pretty convinced this hasn't been used, it looks brand new and pushes like a dream."

The couple also got two kids bikes from the massive haul that usually retail at £40 each.

Although the bikes were missing wheels when the duo first pulled them from the pallet and had yellow 'damaged returns' stickers on them, after a bit of digging the wheels were found and the bikes were good as new.

The couple also bagged a travel cot which was labelled as damaged, but the box was unopened, Holly said: "I'm guessing someone told a little fib because we can't find anything wrong with it."

The impressive pallet also had not one but two highchairs, and although the boxes had seen better days both of the chairs were also brand new.

Holly said: "They had the cellophane over them and even had the fire resistant tags, there was nothing faulty that we could see."

Next the couple pulled a baby swing from the pallet, which retailed a £99.99.

"When we took it out of the pallet it was very grubby," she confessed, adding that "it also had two damaged stickers, one said it had a faulty power supply."

Holly continued: "When we put it together we couldn't find those faults, it even plays music!"

The returns haul even had a swanky toy hippo with a damaged label that read 'doesn't dance or sing'.

But the toy was still in the box and it turned out it just needed new batteries.

Since Holly was expecting a baby when she ordered the pallet she knew she could make use of most of the items and said that she planned to donate anything else to charity shops.
