The Texas teen who was denied a job at Six Flags because of his dreadlocks is already making money off of modeling.

Kerion Washington, 17, appeared on “Strahan and Sara” on Friday and talked to guest co-hosts Keke Palmer and Romeo about his experience with the amusement park.

“It was one of my first jobs, so it was sad,” Washington said. “They pulled me out on the side in the hallway—it was embarrassing … they told me they can’t allow dreads.”

He added, “[My mom and I] were both disappointed. We never expected this to happen. It’s just hair.”

Washington’s story caught the attention of agency IMG Models, who referred him to a local modeling agency to build up his portfolio so they can represent him down the line, but Palmer and Romeo, who is set to appear in “I Got the Hook Up 2,” gave him his first paid modeling opportunity during their “Good Morning America” segment.

“We know you had dreams of modeling, so today, when we do our fashion segment, we’re going to give you your first paid modeling gig,” Palmer said.

Romeo added, “We’re here for you and your dreads, my brother.”
