Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Gleb Savchenko, 37, and his wife Elena Samodanova, 36, have announced their separation after 14 years of marriage. The star, who is currently a professional dancer on The Dancing With The Stars, 37, shared the news in a statement today.
In spite of their split, Gleb and Elena vowed to continue to co-parent their children Olivia, 10, and Zlata, three, together.
Gleb wrote: “It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage.
“We still intend to co-parent our wonderful children together who we love so dearly, and we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them.
“We ask that you respect our family’s need for privacy and healing during this time.”

Elena also shared her own statement on her Instagram stories alongside a photo of the couple.
She wrote: “After 14 years of marriage with my deepest sadness our road is coming to an end.”
In a separate message, she posted a cryptic quote about a person turning into something they said they would never be.
It read: “I don’t hate you, I’m just disappointed you turned into everything you said you’d never be.”
The pair were married in an idyllic ceremony in 2006.
In July 2018, they opened their own dance studio, Pro Dance LA, in West Hollywood, California.
During the same year, Gleb praised his wife – who is also a professional dancer – telling ET Online: “Happy wife, happy life. I’ve been saying it for a very long time!
“Everybody knows it, but sometimes nobody follows that, but I do!

“She wanted a dance studio, here you go! You want to go to work and teach kids, here.
“I have the best wife because she’s very supportive. She supports what I do, we do the same thing.”
Gleb added: “It’s kind of having the same goals. She has crazy ideas, and I say, ‘Let’s make it happen.’
“But she is the one who kind of starts it all.”
The news came days after Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause and Gleb were voted out of Dancing With The Stars.
The pair performed a moving Viennese Waltz to Love On The Brain by Rihanna.
However, the duo unfortunately lost out after landing in the bottom two against Disney star Skai Jackson and her partner Alan Bersten.
Gleb returned to work on Dancing with the Stars after he was partnered with Anita Rani on Strictly in 2015.
