Despite ‘not really feeling’ the cozy-up photos of his stepdaughter and her boyfriend, the ‘Family Feud’ host praises the ‘Creed’ actor for trying to impress the Harvey family during Christmas Day.

AceShowbizSteve Harvey has a hilarious reaction when seeing his stepdaughter Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan‘s PDA-filled photos. In a new interview, the “Celebrity Family Feud” host admitted to getting “uncomfortable.”

When making an appearance in the Tuesday, January 18 episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show“, the 65-year-old TV personality was shown an Instagram post of Lori and Michael. The pictures in question saw the 25-year-old model sitting on her boyfriend’s lap with her arm around him. “I’ve never seen that picture before,” he admitted, before adding, “I’m very uncomfortable with that picture, right now. Not really feeling that picture.”

Steve then shared that Michael spent his second Christmas holiday with the Harvey family. The TV presenter also noted that the “Black Panther” actor went big on gifts for his potential future in-laws.

When asked if Michael is a good gift-giver, Steve proudly said, “Hell yeah.” The “Little Big Shots” host went on to elaborate, “That’s why I like him. That boy comes through. He’s trying to impress the family.”

“He bought me this big, 100 cigar box of the most hard to get cigars, 100 of them in this big box and he gave that to me. He gave my wife some skis. Who do that?” Steve told Ellen DeGeneres. “Only way you give your potential mother-in-law some skis is because you want her to be your mother-in-law.”

As for whether Michael has his blessing, Steve went on saying, “I’m pulling for him because he’s a really good guy, comes from a really good family, so I’m kind of pulling for him.” Though so, Steve pointed out that at the same time, he “got [his] eyes on him,” before adding a joke, “I can’t whoop him, but he ever turn around, Imma knock his a** out.”

Steve’s daughter and Michael have been dating for more than a year now. Proving that their love is still going strong, the “Creed” star threw his girlfriend a surprise 25th birthday party last week.

Last September, Steve told Entertainment Tonight that he gave Michael a stamp of approval. “This guy is not a representative. He is genuinely who he looks like he is,” he said at the time. “I mean, like, it threw me off at first, because he was so kind. You know, I figure, ‘OK, this is the game right?’ But it wasn’t. This dude was sincere and he’s proven to be a really, really good, good guy. I’m pulling for him, you know, for them.”

In a separate interview with PEOPLE, Steve gushed over how happy Lori is with Michael. “It’s the first time I’ve been happy for her [in a relationship]. And it’s the first time she’s been happy,” he told the outlet, before concluding, “But I’m a father. I don’t give a damn if you [are] cute. I just want somebody to treat my princess the way I treat her.”
