The award-winning presenter has since moved to fronting her own Channel 4 show which features celebrity guests, entertainment, food and consumer stories.

The news comes after Steph shared on social media that she will also be hosting her own programme on BBC Two.

Sharing a series of photos of her time filming in the Yorkshire Dales, the mum-of-one gave an insight into her new BBC offering.

Steph wrote: “Spent the day filming a show in The Yorkshire Dales on Monday. I walked round Littondale in the sunshine for 7 hours.

“All I had to do was carry a little camera on a stick and then walk round talking to myself and any people I met along the way!”

She continued: “Met some brill people including @team_of_the_bean — a fab small mobile business in the Dales serving cracking drinks.

“Will be on the telly in the Autumn called ‘Walking with… Steph McGovern’ BBC Two.”

Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel airs tonight on BBC One at 8.30pm.
