Linda Robson appeared on Good Morning Britain where the actress addressed claims of a rumoured rift between herself and former Birds of a Feather star Pauline Quirke. It was reported that the pair had fallen out after 50 years of friendship, which resulted in the latter refusing to take part in the classic sitcom’s 30th anniversary show in 2019.

Speaking to Kate Garraway and Adil Ray on GMB, Linda shut down the rumours of a rift.

“Have you had a falling out with Pauline Quirke?” Kate quizzed. “What is that all about?”

Shaking her head, Linda explained that the two have not had a falling out and added that Pauline simply no longer wants to be an actress.

She replied: “I haven’t had a falling out with Pauline. She just does not want to act anymore.”

Linda continued: “Because we did a Christmas special – Pauline doesn’t want to act anymore.

“She wants to concentrate on her academy. That’s all.”

She added: “There’s been no falling out whatsoever.”

Linda’s comments come after it was recently reported that there will not be another series of Birds of a Feather.
