Saira Khan has unfollowed former Loose Women co-stars Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore and Kaye Adams on Instagram after leaving the show recently.

The 50 year old TV star, who recently shared a gruesome look at her stitches after having surgery on her broken ankle, is also no longer followed by the three women after she said she “tolerated” some of her fellow panellists on the ITV show.

But, Kaye and Jane, both 58, still follow the Instagram page for Saira’s skincare rage.

Meanwhile Saira still follows her former panellists Stacey Solomon, Coleen Nolan, Ruth Langsford, Judi Love, Christine Lampard, Carol McGiffin, Denise Welch, Linda Robson, Brenda Edwards, Kelle Bryan and Andrea McLean, who also quit the show recently.

The bold move comes after Saira admitted she tolerated some of the Loose Women after leaving the show.

Speaking on Celebrity Skin Talk, Saira told host Scott McGlynn: “You make friends with some people, you tolerate some people, and some people you are just there to do the job with.

“I’m not going to go into the nitty gritty here now. There are some I will be close to because we get each other.

“And there are some I won't miss at all who I was just like ‘I just have to tolerate you to do the job’’.

“You have to be professional about it. You can't pretend that you're all going to be best friends.

“On a show with different opinions, you're not going to tolerate everybody's opinion.

“That's not a problem, just do it with respect and you have to be open minded.”

She continued: “Sometimes I'd go in with an opinion and someone would say something to me and I'd think: ‘oh I haven't thought about it like that before!’”

After announcing her decision to leave the show in her column with Mirror, she also revealed hopes she would be replaced by someone gay, transgender or non binary.

She told notebook magazine: “I want to offer my seat as a Loose Woman to another woman who can use that platform to heal and share and for people to understand a different perspective. I never felt that seat was ever going to be permanent, I’m a businesswoman and I always wanted to move on. I would love to see a gay or transgender woman take my seat. I’m leaving that show as diverse as it’s ever been.

“I’ve been feeling like that for the last two years, but I didn’t want to leave, because that representation wouldn’t have been there. We’ve now got three other women of colour on the panel and I feel like I’m leaving it in a really healthy position.”
