Ronnie Wood, 74, and 66-year-old Jo Wood tied the knot in 1985 and finalised their divorce in 2009. His ex-wife has now revealed she is on friendly terms with him and his wife Sally and even exchanges gifts with them at Christmas. In a segment about being friends with an ex on Steph’s Packed Lunch, Jo said the pair are in regular contact for the sake of their children and grandchildren.

The former couple share three children together; Leah, Jamie and Tyrone.

Ronnie also has two other children with Sally, who he married in 2012, and son Jesse with an ex partner.

Speaking to Steph McGovern today, she said: “I talk to my ex, we’ve got kids together, we’ve got grandkids together.

“And we were together for a long time. I think it’s important to be able to talk to them and say, ‘What’s going on?’ and that sort of stuff.

“I’ve always been like that with most of my ex-boyfriends, not like I have that many, but I am friends with them.”

Steph went on to ask Jo if it was true she sends Ronnie Christmas presents every year.

“I’m good like that,” she laughed, confirming the rumour. “I think it’s important to stay friends with your ex.”

The host then pointed out having to consider an ex’s new partner when it came to staying friends.

She went on to confess: “I send her Christmas presents too!”

Ronnie’s ex-wife went on to say the pair didn’t break up well, adding it took them two years to bury the hatchet.

The former couple split in 2008 amid claims the rockstar had been unfaithful.

In 2017, Jo said the pair’s divorce “is the best thing that happened” to her.

“It made me the woman I am today,” she told The Sun.

“I’m closer to my kids and I know I’m a better person. I’ve grown up.

“I’ve become independent. I can look after myself now.”

“If you let things fester you become bitter and angry. You can’t enjoy your life. It’s better to be forgiving and happy.”

Back in March, it was revealed Jo had joined a dating agency looking for love.

She told The Mail on Sunday: “I would consider getting married a third time if the right man came along.

“Third time lucky, I say. I’m a romantic.”

She first tied the knot with Peter Greene in 1973 and divorced three years later.
