In his upcoming memoir, Jann Wenner claims that a photographer who worked for Us Weekly received a tip about the ‘Maleficent’ actress’ trip to Africa with the actor, who was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

AceShowbizAngelina Jolie was the mastermind behind the expose of her affair with Brad Pitt. Rolling Stone co-founder reveals in his upcoming memoir “Like a Rolling Stone” that the Oscar-winning actress tipped off a photographer on her trip to Africa with Brad, who was still married to Jennifer Aniston at the time.

After the pair worked together on the movie “Mr and Mrs Smith“, there had been rumors flying that they were also an off-screen couple, but nothing had been confirmed. That, however, changed with the leak of the then-couple’s beach photos with her adopted son Maddox that confirmed their secret relationship.

Jan, who once was also the owner of Us Weekly, claims a photographer that worked with the magazine received a tip from Angelina herself on the couple’s stay at a resort on the coast of Africa. The photographer was allegedly told not only where the pair were staying but also given details about the time of their daily walk, along with a suggestion of where they could be “secretly” photographed.

“We got the photo, we got the proof,” Jan writes about their reaction after receiving the tip, according to Page Six, “we had the worldwide scoop, the debut of Brangelina.” He added, “The tipster was Angelina.”

Angelina has not responded to Jann’s claims. The pair were together for 12 years and got married in 2014 before they separated in September 2016 following the infamous plane fight. They were declared legally single in April 2019, but are still embroiled in a lengthy and nasty custody battle over their minor children.

In addition to son Maddox who is now 21 years old, the former spouses share sons Pax, 18, and Knox, 14, as well as daughters Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16 and Vivienne, 14.

Jan shares more stories about his encounters with other stars, such as Tom Cruise, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bette Midler, in the book which will hit the shelves on September 13.
