We might be used to seeing Lauren Goodger flaunt her body on Instagram, but that could all be about to change after sources reveal that the star is keen to change her image.

Lauren, who’s expecting her first baby with boyfriend Charles Drury in July this year, now wants a more wholesome digital makeover as she gets ready to become a mum.

“Lauren wants to change her Instagram. It’s no secret she gets a lot of stick, but she’s been doing a lot of Q&As with her followers because she wants to be more open,” a source told new magazine.

“She’s no longer going to put what she thinks is perfection on her Instagram account any more.”

While the source didn’t confirm whether she will continue using her OnlyFans account, they did say the mum-to-be – who stepped out looking glam last week – wants to use her online platform to open up on her experiences as a new mum and be the role model she has always wanted to be.

“Lauren has admitted to mistakes she’s made in the past and she’s the first to hold her hands up,” the source added.

“She wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s not one of these Love Islanders who constantly uploads bikini pictures the whole time.

"She wants to start showing more of her real life. She’s got a baby on the way.

“She will continue to make mistakes, it’s normal. Especially as a first-time mum,” continued the source. “But she wants to ask her followers for advice. She wants to interact with other mums and talk about their problems, help with sleeping patterns, all those things.”

Lauren, 34, found fame on reality series The Only Way Is Essex alongside sisters Sam Faiers and Billie Shepherd.

While they have gone on to star on ITVBe’s The Mummy Diaries, it could be a while until Lauren considers following in their footsteps with her own family series.

“She wants to show everyone this new journey she’ll be going on and show everyone she’s a real person. She doesn’t want to be seen as an influencer,” the source revealed.

Since finding happiness with Charles, 23, it seems Lauren is definitely more settled. “Becoming pregnant has changed her mindset,” the source shared.

“Before, she was always striving for perfection. Now that her body is changing, she’s starting to realise that there is no perfection.

"She’s had a good think about the things she posts. She was loved on TOWIE and she wants to get back to that and for people to see her for who she is.”
