Queen told to 'rest up' on doctor's orders says expert
Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter to express his concerns for the Queen following a report that she is under medical supervision amid doctor’s growing concerns for her health. The 57-year-old was one of the first to comment on the news on his Twitter page, where he alerted his eight million followers.
He wrote: “This seems a serious situation.”
Gary Lineker has also expressed his concerns with a similar comment, writing: “Very worrying”.
Alex Beresford added: “Thinking of her Majesty,” alongside a praying hand emoji.
Lord Sugar penned: “I am sure the whole nation will join me in wishing her well for a speedy recovery.”
A statement from Buckingham Palace read: “Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.
“The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
