Gwyneth Paltrow is ‘squashed’ while Naomi Watts has cheek massage as stars go glam for Golden Globes

When it comes to awards shows, Naomi Watts and Gwyneth Paltrow are old pros.

And while neither has been nominated this year for a Golden Globe, they still pulled out all the stops for their red carpet appearance at the annual awards show held in Beverly Hills.

Watts, 51, shared video on her Instagram Story showing her getting her cheek jowls smoothed out while Gywneth Paltrow, 47, shared a snap as she got a body massage.

Prep: Gwyneth Paltrow shared this image of her makeup-free face poking through the hole in a massage table as a masseuse worked on her back ahead of the Golden Globes on Sunday

Pamper session: She also got a ‘home style face lift’ using a small gold vibrator

In Paltrow’s Instagram post, her makeup free face is seen poking through the hole in the massage table as a masseuse works on her back.

‘Getting squashed by Dr. Evans,’ the actress explained.

She also revealed that she had enjoyed lunch out with her husband Brad Falchuk ahead of the awards show and posted photos of the ‘cookie buffet’ her stepson had made for her.

‘Maybe I should wait,’ she mused.

Flawless: Paltrow showcased her full glam look as she took a selfie with her stylists before heading off to the awards show

Watts, meanwhile, shared a photo showing her relaxing in the sunshine wearing a straw fedora and black sweatshirt with a pal.

In the caption, she wrote: ‘Time to get in the makeup chair….’

She then posted video showing her getting her face stroked with a Jillian Dempsey Gold Bar face massager as a stylist blow dried her hair.

‘Always important to remove the jowls,’ she wrote on the image.
