Jesy Nelson’s powerful documentary on trolling and cyberbullying which aired on BBC One on Thursday night has been praised by Little Mix fans, viewers and stars alike.

In the hour-long programme, Jesy, 28, opened up about the terrible trolling she suffered when Little Mix first soared to fame.

In Odd One Out, Jesy revealed how nasty and cruel comments about her looks and weight negatively affected her.

The singer bravely revealed that she used to starve herself days after cruel trolls labelled her “fat”, while she also attempted to take her own life during a deep depression.

One viewer wrote: “#JesyNelson has always been my favourite member of #LittleMix but now I respect her even more for speaking out. Bullying of any kind is never acceptable. Think before you speak/type #OddOneOut #JesyNelsonOddOneOut.”

A third said: “Sobbing at #JesyNelson Odd One Out. People can be so so cruel and I just don’t know why or how. It’s so important to be kind to everyone.”

And a fourth person wrote: “Me & my 7 year old crying with you. You should be so proud of yourself for how far you have come #OddOneOut #JesyNelson #beautifulinsideandout.”
