Kym Marsh has been missing from her presenting duties on Morning Live alongside Gethin Jones since she broke the news her dad Dave is battling cancer.

The former Coronation Street star, 45, is devastated as she exclusively revealed to OK! her father Dave's incurable prostate cancer has now spread to his bones.

All week, Kym hasn't been seen presenting her show Morning Live with her co-host Gethin, which has resulted in many fans expressing their concerns for the star on Twitter.

One asked this week: "Where is Kym Marsh?"

"Where is Kym? Hope she's ok??" another follower quizzed online.

"Hi Kym I hope u are well. Hope to see u back on Morning Live soon," a third added.

A representative from the BBC told OK!: "Kym has been poorly this week but we are looking forward to welcoming her back to Morning Live soon."

While Kym, who announced she is engaged to marry Scott Ratcliff, 32, hasn't been hosting the show this week, Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara stepped into her presenting shoes from Monday.

Gethin announced on the programme: "Thank you for starting your week with us on Morning Live. It’s been a very busy weekend for lots of people.

"You might have heard there’s a new Health Secretary. We’ll find out later what this means for you."

He continued: "There’s lots of sport on the telly too. Wales sadly out of the Euros.

"I text Kym to tell her. She hasn’t replied, she’s poorly today so Janette is here. Do you feel my pain?”

It comes after Kym's father revealed he wants to be able to walk his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day.

"My biggest hope is the treatment keeps working and gives me more time with my family," he shared.

"I want to be fit and well enough to walk Kym down the aisle after she recently got engaged.

"It's something to look forward to, and making sure I'm there means the world to me.

"I've been very lucky because I have a wonderful family who support me, and that's a huge help."
