Kim Kardashian has made her first post on her Instagram feed since reportedly "filing for divorce" from Kanye West to wish her late father Robert a happy birthday.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who recently laughed as she partied with best pal Jonathan Cheban, posted a sweet snap of herself with sisters Kourtney, 41, and Khloe, 36, alongside their brother Rob, 33, with their dad when they were younger.

In the caption, the 40 year old reality star wrote: "Happy Birthday Dad!

"I celebrate you every single day but today even more. So much to tell you! I called your cell phone number just wondering if anyone would pick up after all these years. I actually can’t believe I remembered it.

"Please come visit me in a dream soon," followed by a praying hands emoji. She continued: "Also can you pretty please send down a sign in the form of those symbols/birds we always talked about?!?! I just miss you sooooo much!" [sic]

Her sister Khloe, who recently denied she's set to marry Tristan Thompson after appearing to "confirm" an engagement, was quick to respond as she wrote: "I love you daddy".

Kim then took to her Instagram stories to share memories of her father, including a clip of Robert in a yellow shirt with a blue cap on. Over this, she wrote: "Happy Birthday daddy! God you would be soooo old LOL". [sic]

The TV personality posted a gorgeous photo of herself wearing a white top with a grey sweater as her dad wrapped his arms around her, which she captioned: "I miss you!"

Another snap showed a very young Kim in a buttoned up jean jacket with one arm around Robert, who could be seen posing in a red jumper.

A third picture showed Kim with a short bob haircut, dressed in a black velvet dress with sheer sleeves as she posed next to her dad and younger brother Rob, who both matched in black shirts and red blazers.

Over this, she wrote: "Not the best pic of them but I'm a whole 90's vibe LOL".

Kim also shared a black and white snap of the whole family, including Kris Jenner, 65, as they all smiled for the camera.

Kim even shared a snap of Robert with Kris' two daughters with former partner 71 year old Caitlyn.

Kendall, 25, and 23 year old Kylie could be seen smiling as they sat on his lap. Kim wrote over this: "Dad w Kendall & Kylie," [sic] with two red heart emojis.
