Despite the ‘Power’ rhymer’s claim that his estranged wife ‘cried’ when he brought her the unseen tape, a rep for the reality TV star says ‘there was nothing sexual unseen’ in the laptop.
AceShowbiz –Kim Kardashian has once again denied the existence of a second sex tape with Ray J. After Kanye West revealed that he retrieved the supposed unseen footage of the reality TV star and her ex-boyfriend, her rep has dismissed the rapper’s claims.
In a statement to Page Six, the spokesperson for the SKIMS founder insisted that the laptop Kanye retrieved from Ray J didn’t contain any explicit content. “The computer and hard drive collected were supposed to contain the original video and any unseen footage. After review, there was nothing sexual unseen, only footage on the plane on the way to Mexico and footage at a club and restaurant on the same trip,” read the statement.
The rep added, “Kim remains firm in her belief that there is no new second tape that exists.” Sharing her wish to put the past behind, the rep stated, “After 20 years, she truly wishes to move on from this chapter [and] focus instead on the positive things she continues to do as a mother, entrepreneur and advocate for justice reform.”
Kim’s sex tape scandal is brought back into the limelight after Kanye said in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked that he helped secure an unreleased sex tape of his estranged wife and Ray J. “I went and got the laptop from Ray J myself that night…,” he recalled. “Got on the red eye and met this man at the airport, then got on the red eye, came back, delivered it to her at 8 A.M. in the morning.”
Ye said Kim got emotional after he brought her the tape. “She cried when she saw it,” so he claimed. “You know why she cried when she seen the laptop? It represents how much she’s been used. It represents how much people didn’t love her and they just saw her as a commodity.”
A source confirmed to Page Six that Kim was “very emotional” when the “Gold Digger” spitter returned with the computer and hard drive. “Kim was and still is truly grateful to Kanye for getting it back,” the so-called insider shared. “The tape caused her a lot of pain and continues to haunt her to this day. Even though they are no longer together as a couple, they remain aligned with the same concerns about how this content that continues to be used against her will affect their four young kids in the future.”
Back in September 2021, Ray J’s former manager Wack 100 claimed he was in possession of a second sex tape of Kim and Ray J. He described it as longer and “more graphic and better than the first one.” He said he didn’t plan to release it to anyone but was willing to hand it to Kanye.
“We got part two on the laptop and it’s never been seen. We’d love for you to have it. It’d be a great, personal private NFT,” he publicly offered to Ye. “I would never give it to anybody but Kanye ’cause it’s the mother of his children.”
At the time, Kim’s rep denied that there was a second sex tape, telling TMZ, “The claim that there is an unreleased sex tape is unequivocally false. It is unfortunate that people make these statements to try and get their 15 minutes of fame.”
