First look at Jamie Foxx’s Beat Shazam

Kevin Hart says Jamie Foxx is a “world of better” amid his dash to hospital following a mystery emergency ‘medical complication’.

Stand-up comedian Hart has held a longtime friendship with Foxx, who is currently in his fourth week in hospital after needing sudden medical attention back in April.

Speaking on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Hart has delivered a positive update just a day after Foxx finally broke his silence to thank fans for their support.

Explaining the family and Foxx want to keep his medical condition away from the public eye as he’s “a private person to a certain degree” Hart added he had been in close contact to keep tabs on his friend.

“The dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation, and you know, everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy. All that stuff is seen and felt,” he told the host.

“So in this case, man, you know, you just want the guy to get out of the situations and then get back home.”

Hart said he “didn’t know the exact details” but added: “To my knowledge is there’s a lot of progression and a world of better, man.”

“So you know, my love, synergy, energy goes out to him. He’s needed, he’s necessary. I know that he knows that,” Hart said.

The positive update comes just hours after Foxx spoke out for the first time by thanking his fans on Instagram.

“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” he wrote, alongside emojis of prayer hands, a heart and a fox.

He also sent his seal of approval to Nick Cannon, who was announced to take over Foxx’s hosting duties on the sixth season of competition show, Beat Shazam.

His daughter Corrine, who stars on the show alongside him, will be replaced by Kelly Osbourne in the interim as she remains by her father’s side.

Cannon paid tribute to Foxx following the takeover, assuring fans he was just temporarily in his friends role by writing: “This is your house big bro!! I’m nothing without you! I love you!”

Foxx is currently recuperating in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was residing while filming his new Netflix movie, Back In Action.

He is due to star in the film alongside Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close.

It’s not believed the incident happened on set, with a stunt man currently taking his place as filming continues without him.

While he’s in recovery, it’s been reported that doctors are still trying to decipher what actually happened, and are keeping him under observation until they’re sure he’s well enough to return home.
