Kerry Katona has taken a swipe at the line-up for this year's Strictly Come Dancing, saying: "I haven’t heard of any of them!"

The 41 year old reacted to the line-up of this year's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which she starred on last year.

Speaking about the new batch of stars taking on the challenge, Kerry wrote in her column: "The Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins line-up is one of the best I’ve ever seen.

"I know most of the people on there, which is completely different to Strictly’s line-up this year – I haven’t heard of any of them! It’s so random. I want to see people I know!"

This year's Strictly line-up is lead by TV presenter Helen Skelton, actor Will Mellor, former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh and singer Matt Goss.

Other names include The X Factor runner-up Fleur East, EastEnders actor James Bye and Loose Women panellist Kaye Adams.

Radio presenters Richie Anderson and Tyler West, comedians Jayde Adams and Ellie Taylor, Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, football manager Tony Adams, CBBC star Molly Rainford and cameraman Hamza Yassin complete the line-up.

Meanwhile, reality stars Pete Wicks, Calum Best, Ashley Cain, AJ and Curtis Pritchard, Ferne McCann and Amber Gill will be taking on the challenged of Celebrity SAS.

They will be joined by soap stars Jennifer Ellison and Maisie Smith and sports stars Shannon Courtenay, Dwain Chambers, Fatima Whitbread, Jonathan Broom-Edwards and Jade Jones.

Kerry commented: "The SAS lot will do great. I’m backing Ashley Cain all the way.

"He’s taking part in memory of his daughter Azaylia and I really hope he wins."

Kerry is not the only person left disappointed by this year's Strictly line-up, with some warring between fans on Twitter about the line-up.

One fan wrote: "No wow factor with this lot but thats par for the course and by week 3 everyone will be shouting for a b or c."

Another tweeted: "I'll not bother this year", whilst someone else said: "I feel like the producers sometimes just go to the BBC canteen and force anyone who doesn’t run away fast enough to do strictly."

Some people were quick to fight back over the negative comments, with one writing: "To the people who say they won’t watch because they don’t know the celebrities.

"Genuine question. If a new show was on tv and you didn’t know the actors, would you not watch it??

"I’m finding these remarks pathetic. Don’t watch it the show will survive with you. Bye."
