Katie Price was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Monday morning with "facial injuries," according to reports.

The Sun claims police were called to a property in Essex where they found a woman with "facial injuries" who "required hospital treatment."

Paramedics were then allegedly called, with a man being arrested on suspicion of assault currently being held in custody.

Essex Police said in a statement: "We were called by colleagues in the ambulance service to reports of an assault shortly after 1.30am this morning, Monday 23 August.

"We arrived and found a woman had sustained a facial injury which required hospital treatment.

"A man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody."

A further statement from the force said: "Our investigations are continuing at the scene today."

A source told The Sun: "Katie is, understandably, utterly devastated.

"She was taken to hospital in an ambulance where she was treated for a suspected jaw fracture and split eye."

OK! online has contacted a representative for Katie for comment on this story.

The reports come days after Katie revealed plans to charge her fans £4.99 to watch an uncensored video of her recent facelift.

With Instagram previously labelling her surgical procedures as "too graphic and violent" to be posted on the platform, mother of five Katie took to YouTube to document her ops and recovery.

On her Instagram, Katie directed interested fans to her personal website, with the caption: "Witness first hand my cosmetic surgery journey!"

The video on Kate's site is marked as "premium content" and features a still of her covered in bandages with "uncensored" written in big red letters on top.
