Katheryn Winnick is known for her role as the feisty shieldmaiden Lagertha in Vikings on Prime Video. The star became one of the most popular characters of the series and fans were distraught when her character died. Viewers are wondering if she is married, and if so, who her husband is.
Who is Katheryn Winnick’s husband?
Fans quickly fell in love with Lagertha who was one of the main characters from the first season of Vikings.
She was married Ragnar Lothbrok (played by Travis Fimmel) and she was one of the best shieldmaidens of her time.
Fans adored her relationship with her husband and her sons, and she has been sorely missed since her character was killed off.
Plenty of people are keen to find out whether the 42-year-old is married or in a relationship.
There is no evidence to suggest Winnick is married, but it is believed she once dated Nick Loeb in 2015.
Loeb is a businessman who is the ex-husband of actress Sofia Vergara, but there is nothing to suggest Winnick is still dating him.
The actress is on Instagram and she has been keeping fans updated during quarantine.
She recently took part in a Vikings panel at the virtual Comic Con event in July 2020.
Before lockdown the star shared a photo of herself with co-star Gustaf Skarsgard, who plays Floki.
She said: “Before social distancing, flashback with the one and only @gustafskarsgard #Vikings.”
There is nothing on her social media accounts which suggests she is in a relationship.
This may be because she has stepped up in her work as both an actor and director.
The actress directed some of the episodes in season six of Vikings, and she shared backstage photos with co-stars Alexander Ludwig and Marco Ilsø.
She has also just been cast as Jenny Hoyt, the main role in an upcoming series called Big Sky.
Winnick is working on two films – Flag Day and Wander – so she is extremely busy at the moment.

Back in 2016, Winnick spoke to Lion’s Share News about her dating life, but she does not reveal much.
She said “I do not kiss and tell” when asked if she was romantically linked to anyone.
When asked whether she ever dated Loeb she said: “I never dated him, we are friends, we have known each other for a little bit.”
Winnick is still very private when it comes to her personal life and fans are still wondering if she is in a relationship.
Speaking to The Gate about her time on Vikings she said: “We worked with a historian to really make everything as authentic and as real as possible.
“It was a dream come true just because I get a chance to dive into a whole culture and era I knew nothing about.”
Her character was killed off in season six after Hvitserk (Ilsø) accidentally stabbed her while he was hallucinating.
One fan said on Twitter: “The reason I watched Vikings was Lagertha, my favourite character. She should have been queen.”
Another fan said of her funeral scene: “This scene from #Vikings was everything. An epic end for an epic character like #Lagertha.”
