Prince WilliamandKate Middletonhave arrived at the Together at Christmas carol service that’s being hosted at Westminster Abbey today.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, stunned in a red coat dress with matching heels as The Duke of Cambridge, also 39, wore, a suit with a red tie.

The event was spearheaded by the Duchess and, as per a statement from Kensington Palace, the service will “pay tribute to the incredible work of individuals and organisations across the UK who have supported their communities through the COVID-19 pandemic”.

"Filmed for broadcast, the service will provide a moment for the nation to come together and reflect, to think not only of the extraordinary challenges that we have faced, but also to celebrate the acts of kindness that we have witnessed across our nation," the Palace continued.

"The communities pulling together to protect and care for those in need, and those who have stepped up to help others."

The service will feature performances from Leona Lewis and Ellie Goulding and a performance of To The Day – a composition created for the service by poet and writer Lemn Sissay.

Readings will be delivered by speakers including The Duke of Cambridge, British Paralympian and junior doctor Kim Daybell, and Kate Garraway.

The festive event will be broadcast on ITV on Christmas Eve at 7.30pm, in the wake of William allegedly falling out with the BBC.

His animosity towards the British broadcaster comes after it went ahead with airing a documentary about William and Prince Harry The Princes and The Press without giving the family a right of reply or the opportunity to view it before it went out.

A source said at the time of the Cambridge's decision to let ITV broadcast the carol service: “This is a real coup for ITV. It is a brand-new format – the royals have never hosted a televised TV concert before. And to have the Duchess leading on it is a big deal.

“Naturally most royal programming goes automatically to the BBC as the national broadcaster. Now it looks like they will work more with ITV in the future.

“ITV were very surprised but delighted to get the late call offering them this incredible exclusive. It will be a fantastic Christmas carol concert that will be TV gold for viewers at home,” they further toldThe Sun.

The Queen and Prince Charles are also said to be displeased at the documentary whichclaimed that the two brothers had a “briefing war” against one anotherbefore Harry moved to America with his wife, Meghan Markle.

The BBC has defended its decision to air the documentary, and appeared to deny any wrongdoing.

A spokesman said: “The programme is about how royal journalism is done and features a range of journalists from broadcast and the newspaper industry.”
