Jessie Wallace has been spotted for the first time since her arrest at the weekend, when the EastEnders actress allegedly assaulted a police officer while drunk.

On Tuesday 21 June, the 50 year old star was pictured leaving her home in London and heading over to Elstree studios, where the BBC soap is filmed.

The star, who has reportedly been urged to "slow down" by friends since the incident, was wearing a black cotton midi dress, a floral printed black and sheer kimono as she strolled across the street to her car.

She accessorised with a pair of black padded sandals, an oversized tote bag, and finished off with a pair of matching sunglasses.

Jessie also adorned her wrists and fingers with an array of chunky silver jewellery.

The star seemed serious as she clasped her phone in one hand and unlocked her car with the key in her other.

She opted for a simple hairstyle as she braved the UK heatwave, scraping her sleek brunette locks up into a ponytail.

Jessie's outing came after pictures emerged of the actress being restrained by officers following a trip to the Flex night club in Bury St Edmunds.

Earlier in the evening, Jessie had been attending a Madness concert in Suffolk.

Suffolk Police issued a statement to OK! saying that the incident occurred in the town, and the woman arrested was released with a "conditional caution".

The full statement read: "A 50 year-old woman was arrested early on Sunday morning in St Andrew’s Street, Bury St Edmunds, on suspicion of assaulting a police officer/drunk and disorderly conduct and was released without charge after receiving a conditional caution."

Jessie and a man who is believed to be her boyfriend were seen talking with police at around 2am.

The EastEnders star then launched a series of verbal insults towards the officer.

She allegedly told him to “f*** off you fat c***” before physically assaulting him.

Following the incident, the BBC have confirmed they spoke to Jessie and issued a "clear warning".

According to reports, the star's future in Albert Square now remains uncertain.

A spokesperson said in a statement: “Senior bosses have spoken to Jessie Wallace about the incident and issued a clear warning that this kind of behaviour is unacceptable. Jessie has expressed her deep regret."
