It seems impossible that he could sink any lower in the public’s estimation, but somehow Jamie Spears gets more detestable by the day.

In the months since Britney Spears’ conservatorship came to an end, not a week has gone by without some surprising new revelation about just how low Jamie was willing to go in his efforts to keep his daughter under his complete control.

One of the most shocking recent revelations was that Jamie bugged Britney’s bedroom during her years of virtual imprisonment.

The allegations surfaced again this week when Britney’s attorney, Mat Rosengart, filed a declaration ahead of a hearing scheduled for January 19.

In the newly-filed documents, a former FBI special agent named Sherine Ebadi revealed that she “corroborated” the claim that Jamie instructed employees from a company called Black Box Security “to place a secret recording device in Ms. Spears’s bedroom.”

“I corroborated the Times’s reporting on Mr. Spears’s extensive, surveillance efforts, including of Ms. Spears’s attorney-client communications and private conversations in her bedroom,” Ebadi stated.

Ebadi added that according to her professional analysis of the situation, the person whom she spoke with — a former Black Box employee named alex Vlasov — was “highly-credible.”

“Black Box was initially responsible for suggesting that a secret listening device be planted in Ms. Spears bedroom, but Mr. Spears ‘loved’ the idea and approved and instructed that the installation move forward,” Ebadi revealed.

The primary goal of this shocking violation of Britney’s privacy was to intercept communications between the singer and her lawyer at the time.

“Communications between Ms. Spears and her personal court-appointed attorney, Sam Ingham, were among the private communications that Black Box and Mr. Spears monitored,” the investigator wrote.

“Mr. Vlasov told me that Mr. Spears was particularly interested in his daughter’s attorney-client communications and wanted regular updates from Black Box on the substance of those privileged messages,” Ebadi continued.

“Surveillance of Ms. Spears’s communications with her lawyer continued until at least 2020, when [Black Box owner Edan Yemini] instructed Mr. Vlasov to cease reviewing attorney-client privileged communications.”

Despite this decision, the bug remained planted in Britney’s bedroom until 2021.

Rosengart’s latest filings also detail exactly how much money was stolen from Britney over the course of her conservatorship.

The attorney alleges that the arrangement cost Britney $36 million, with Jamie taking $6 million himself, and the rest going toward legal fees.

This claim comes in response to Jamie’s shocking request that Britney pay the remainder his legal fees following their latest court battle.

Astonishingly, Jamie has claimed that he may go bankrupt if his daughter doesn’t foot the bill for his lawyers.

“Mr. Spears, an ignominiously-suspended conservator — of a conservatorship that has been terminated — now seeks to siphon even more money from his daughter,” the documents say.

“Mr. Spears should be required to pay his legal fees,” Rosengart continued.

“If he has already dissipated those funds, he should consider hiring other, less expensive counsel whom he can afford.”

Needless to say, it seems very unlikely that the court will side with Jamie on this one.

So yeah, after years under her abusive father’s thumb, Britney finally has the upper hand.

And we hope she’s enjoying every minute of it!
