Bam Margera, 43, appeared in Chester County courthouse in Pennsylvania Thursday morning after going on the run on Sunday into the woods near his $1.1million Pennsylvania castle.

The Jackass star has since been released on a $50,000 bail, court records seen by Dailymail.co.uk revealed, after he pleaded not guilty.

Margera’s lawyer, Michael van der Veen, announced after his client’s hearing that “the real facts will come out”.

Van der Veen also said in a statement: “Mr. Margera enjoys all of his constitutional rights, including the presumption of innocence. The wild rumors regarding his behavior this week are absolutely false. He is in good health and in good spirits.”

Bam Margera wrote in an Instagram post: “I just got out of the courthouse with my lawyers. Everything went great and the false accusations of what my brother says are not true and he will be sued for defamation as well as being evicted from castle bam sooner than later. The reason this happened is because I read his phone saying he wants me back in California and he wants to find a way to 302 me. Fuck him.”

The TV star was on the run with his girlfriend and her eight-year-old child, according to Bam’s brother Jess, who took to his Twitter account to make the allegation.

Jess also claimed Bam was a meth user and was currently “unrecognisable”, admitting he did not know “what he’s capable of”.

He wrote: “Bam really is the sweetest guy when he isn’t messed up. But since his meth habit, hes unrecognizable & I really don’t know what he’s capable of.

“Seeing him screaming @ at a person that wasn’t there, hallucinating. It’s really scary & heartbreaking.” (sic)

The professional skateboarder’s ordeal started early Sunday as he allegedly banged on his older brother’s bedroom door and left him a note.

The note allegedly threatened: “If you even f***ing think of calling the police on me I will officially f*** you up.”

Jess claimed he went downstairs after reading the note and found his brother peeing into the kitchen sink.

An argument reportedly broke out and the musician claimed Bam struck him multiple times on his head, leaving Jesse with visible injuries.

He also claimed that, during the fight, the Jackass star raged: “I’ll kill you. I’ll put a bullet in your head.”

Jesse claimed Bam said he would kill everyone in the home, including their father Phil, before fleeing into the woods before police arrived at the scene.

Express.co.uk has contacted Bam Margera’s representatives for comment.
