Rapper and producer J. Cole recently surprised fans by releasing a new single “Heaven’s EP” and an accompanying video.

“Heaven’s EP,” which builds on the beat from Drake‘s Certified Lover Boy track “Pipe Down,” is Cole’s first new single since the release of his latest album The Off-Season.

“Some people say that I’m running third, they threw the bronze at me/Behind Drake and Dot, yeah them n****s is superstars to me/Maybe deep down I’m afraid of my luminosity/So when you see me on red carpets, I’m movin’ awkwardly,” Cole raps on the track.

“Heaven’s EP” arrives with a Las Vegas-based video directed by Simon Chasalow that see Cole riding in a private jet, hanging at iconic Vegas landmarks, and chilling in a suite.

Meanwhile, Cole is set to embark on his “The Off-Season” Tour with 21 Savage beginning with a show at FTX Arena in Miami on Friday, September 24.
