The release of the first half of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new Netflix series is just days away, and there's no doubt the Royal Family are bracing themselves for the bombshells that will be included in the documentary.

Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, will star in Harry & Meghan, a six-part documentary series where they will lift the lid off their lives and experiences as senior royals.

Two explosive trailers have already been shared and both hint at some huge revelations, including Harry appearing to claim that the Royal Family "planted" stories about him and Meghan.

Harry's father King Charles III, 74, will most likely be feeling anxious ahead of the show's release on 8 December, and a royal expert has predicted how he may react if the Sussexes slam any of the Royals.

Expert Michael Cole claimed the "gloves are off" and that the King has options when it comes to reacting to any negative claims about the Firm.

He told GB News: “We saw how swiftly Buckingham Palace moved to cut loose Lady Susan Hussey after only 60 years of service to the crown at the weekend.

“We'll have to see what's in there, but it looks as if it's bare-knuckle fighting, and the gloves are off.”

Discussing Prince Harry's upcoming memoir, titled Spare, which will be released in January 2023, Michael said if that is very explosive then the King could even contemplate revoking Harry's title.

He said: “Now if that is very explosive, the King does have an option here.

“He can remove the title HRH, Her Royal Highness, His Royal Highness. It was done when Diana divorced immediately…that's big medicine, that means something a great deal.

“The King does have that sanction, or maybe they will try to never explain, never respond to it. I think it would be hard for them to do that.”

On signs that the Palace might counter the allegations, he said: “What will trigger that is if there are direct attacks on his [Prince William's] wife Catherine, the Princess of Wales, I think that might trigger it."

Michael's comments come after the Sussexes released a second trailer for their upcoming Netflix series, where Prince Harry appeared to hint that the Royal Family had leaked and "planted" stories about him and Meghan.

He can be heard saying: "There's a hierarchy of the family, you know, there's leaking, but there's also planting of stories. It's a dirty game."
