En Vogue, Deborah Cox, and Fred Hammond will receive Black Music Honors this year, among others.

En Vogue, the ladies-only trio consisting of Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron and Rhona Bennett, will receive the urban music icon award.

Cox, who is a Canadian singer, songwriter, actress and record producer, will receive the Entertainer Icon Award.

“What a journey this has been and such a beautiful way to celebrate 25 years in the business,” the Grammy Award-winner tweeted.

Hammond, who won a Grammy award for the album Free to Worship, will receive the gospel music icon award.

The 5th Annual Black Music Honors, acknowledging legendary artists and institutions that have made a significant contribution to African American music, will take place on November 21. The program will be aired on Bounce TV at 12 p.m. ET.

Hosted by Rickey Smiley, this special is dedicated to first responder and essential workers.

Musiq Soulchild, Tweet, June’s Diary, Marvin Sapp, Raheem Devaughn, Major., Brian Courtney Wilson, RL, D Smoke and Sheléa! are scheduled to perform at the event with a special tribute to Bill Withers.
