EastEnders fans couldn’t help but comment on popular character Sharon Watts' youthful look with some claiming the actress, Letitia Dean, looks “20 years old”.

Letitia, 54, joined the cast of the hit BBC soap when it started in 1985 and after her latest return to the Square following her character’s holiday to Australia, fans can’t get over her youthful look.

Sharon returned to Albert Square with a bronzed tan, long blonde hair and flawless make up causing fans to gush over her incredible look.

One viewer took to Twitter to share: “Shazza always showing up looking younger by the day.

While a second penned: “SHARON LOOKS 20 YEARS OLD.”

With a third agreeing: “Sharon is back and she looks 25. Queen. #EastEnders."

Her ageless look had fans questioning what her secret was with one hinting that she may have a plastic surgeon to thank.

They wrote: “Good evening to Sharon Watts’ cosmetic surgeon only #EastEnders.”

Sharon has returned as the show has been taking on loads of drama with Janine Butcher attempting to cover the truth about her car crash after she moved Linda Carter to make it look like she was driving in shock scenes.

Only recently, the pairwere involved in a horror car crashwith Janine smashing into a tree after she lost control of the car after avoiding an oncoming lorry due to the duo arguing over their love interest Mick Carter, played byDanny Dyer.

While on Tuesday's explosive episode, Janine, played by Charlie Brooks, moved a drunk Linda, played by Kellie Bright, to make it look like she was driving.

Sharon, although unaware of Janine’s devious car crash plot, has threatened to expose Janine for her money scam which saw Linda’s daughter Nancy swindled out of £50,000.

Sharon has been a returning member to the soap since her first teenage appearance in the 1980s when the show began.

Letitia revealed following returning to the set after lockdown that she was suffering from "anxiety" at the thought of going back to work.

Letitia headed back to the soap's set in September 2020 to film Secrets from the Square and she described it as "weird" and describing the usually busy set as a "ghost town".

In an interview with Woman's Own magazine, the star said: "Doing Secrets from the Square with Stacey Dooley was really great.

"It was weird because it was like a ghost town, but I'm glad I did it because I had anxiety about going back in."

Talking about lockdown Letitia revealed that it felt like "a bit of a holiday" in the beginning, but as time went on it grew "difficult".
