Britney Spears is reported to have called 911 to report herself as a victim of conservatorship abuse, it has been claimed.

The Toxic singer, 39, is said to have made the call in Venture County, California the night before her bombshell hearing last month.

The recording is understood to be sealed due to an "on going investigation" but, two sources confirmed the call to The New Yorker.

It's also understood that members of Britney's team were also "texting frantically" as they were "worried about what she might say the next day".

An attorney is also reported to have urged the judge to clear the courtroom and seal the transcript of Britney's testimony before the hearing.

But, according to the publication, the singer objected and said: "Somebody’s done a good job at exploiting my life.

"I feel like it should be an open-court hearing – they should listen and hear what I have to say."

During the explosive hearing where Britney spoke for 24 minutes, the singer, who recently apologised to fans for pretending she was OK, claimed she was put on Lithium and was banned from having children.

She told the court that she was forced to take the medication when she said she didn't want to go ahead with her second Las Vegas residency.

Britney said: "Three days later after I said no to Vegas, my therapist sat me down in a room and said he had a million phone calls about how I was not cooperating in rehearsals. And I haven't been taking my medication. All of this was false.

"He immediately, the next day, put me on lithium, out of nowhere. He took me off my normal meds I've been on for five years.

"And lithium is a very, very strong and completely different medication compared to what I was used to. You can go mentally impaired if you take too much, if you stay on it longer than five months. But he put me on that, and I felt drunk."

Singer Britney, who's request to have her dad Jamie Spears removed has conservator has been denied, added she wanted to sue her family for how she's been treated.

She admitted: "And I would honestly like to sue my family to be totally honest with you.

"I also would like to be able to share my story with the world and what they did to me, instead of it being a hush-hash secret to benefit all of them.

"I want to be able to be heard on what they did to me by making me keep this in for so long. It's not good for my heart. I've been so angry, and I cry every day. It concerns me."
