Hollywood hits London tonight as the BAFTA Awards get underway in spectacular style.

A host of A-listers have stepped out onto the red carpet, as the best of the film world make their arrivals.

Making yourself seen and taking the opportunity to make a grandstand entrance has not been lost on some of those invited.

From feather accents to near naked displays, there are plenty of outrageous red carpet looks and these are among the most eye-popping.

Lady Victoria Hervey attracted attention on the red carpet in a grey semi sheer sequin detail gown.

She didn't leave much to the imagination with the cut out sides showing off her midriff and bare shoulder details.

Posing with her hands on her hips in the shimmering outfit, Lady Victoria accessorised with a large square ring and silver bangle.



Jessie Buckley opted for a black floor-length gown with an interesting feather detail around the bodice.

The Irish actress is a Best Leading Actress nominee for her role in Wild Rose.

She scrubbed up a little differently to her Wild Rose character Rose-Lynn Harlan tonight in the striking outfit.


Edith Bowman and Dermot O'Leary are keeping the red carpet warm for some of Hollywood's top talent.

O'Leary is equipped with a telescope to keep his beady eye on the starriest names.

But Edith’s outfit has attracted some attention as she’s wearing a striking pair of turquoise gloves to keep the chill off on this cold winter evening.

Batman spin-off Joker leads the way with 11 BAFTA nods in total, followed closely by Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood and Martin Scorsese's The Irishman, which each have 10.


This year's ceremony looks set to be pretty A-list, with nominees including Joker Joaquin Phoenix, Judy star Renee Zellweger and Once Upon A Time's Brad Pitt among the stars attending the ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall.

Other nominees making an appearance include Charlize Theron, Al Pacino, Adam Driver, Saoirse Ronan and Scarlett Johansson.


Plus, presenters and guests including Daniel Kaluuya, John Boyega, Sir Ian McKellen, Hugh Grant and 2019 winner Olivia Colman are also walking the red carpet.

A diversity row has engulfed this year's Bafta nominations as all shortlisted actors are white, and there are no women filmmakers shortlisted for best director or best film.
