Angelina Jolie and her daughters walked the red carpet at the 16th Rome Film Festival for the screening of her new film, Eternals on Sunday 24 October.

Angelina, 46, looked stunning in a silver, strapless, metallic dress that clung to her figure and had a slight train.

The dress, from Versace, was described by designer Donatella on Instagram as making the Hollywood icon look like a “goddess”.

She paired the dress with silver earrings and a simple, flowing do to her hair.

She was accompanied by her two teenaged daughters, who also seem to have acquired their mother’s knack for style.

Zahara, 16, wore a white Grecian-style dress with gold detailing whilst fourteen year old Shiloh wore a black, knee length dress which she paired with some casual animal print kicks. The three held hands whilst posing for pictures.

Angelina has been making the red carpet a family affair quite regularly lately.

Earlier this month at the the Los Angeles premiere, she was joined by Shiloh, Zahara and three of her other children; Maddox, 20, and the twins Vivienne and Knox, 13.

The only one of her children missing was 17 year old Pax. For this occasion Zahara wore the dress that her mother had worn to the 2014 Academy Awards.

Angelina told Teen Vogue: “My kids are all mixed with vintage, and in my old Oscars dress. We did all vintage and up-cycled my old stuff.”

The actress attended the premiere for Eternals, which is a film from Marvel Cinematic Universe, set to be released on Friday 5 November.

It follows the story of an immortal alien race that comes out of hiding on Earth but is then attacked by another group of aliens, called the Deviants.

Directed by Chloe Zhao – who previously won an Oscar for Nomadland – it also stars Kit Harington, Salma Hayek and Kumail Nanjiani.

There is also speculation that former One Direction star Harry Styles makes a cameo appearance in the film near the end.

The singer, who has long been rumoured to be linked with the Marvel franchise, has previously gained recognition for his performance in Dunkirk.

A Variety reporter confirmed the news when he tweeted: “Big reveal from #TheEternals premiere- Harry Styles has joined the MCU as Eros, brother of Thanks”.

In the film, Angelina plays a powerful warrior named Thena.

Whilst promoting the movie, Jolie explained how becoming a mother had significantly changed how she sees herself.

She said: “I became a mother in my 20s. I remember something happened to Maddox when he was little; it was an injury and I was terrified, and I heard myself say, ‘It's gonna be fine, it's gonna be fine, it’s gonna be OK.’

“I realised I had become the person that was always going to make everything OK, not the person that worries, that's dramatic, that's upset, that I have spent my whole life being in that darker space. It happens in a minute.”
