Will Smith is in the process of getting fit and transforming his body, after sharing a photo which went viral earlier this month in which he claimed to be in the “worst shape” of his life. The 52-year-old actor is partnering with YouTube to document his weight loss journey and muscle transformation in a new series, but he’s also been posting updates on his Instagram as he gets started in the gym.

In a photo that he uploaded today, Smith provides a glimpse at his shoulder and upper body workout. He’s performing a dumbbell press—and jokes that he was lifting way heavier weights right after the pic was taken, honest. He’s also kitted out appropriately, wearing head-to-toe Bel-Air Athletics, the sportswear brand inspired by the iconic ’90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air which dropped last year.

Smith might only be a couple of weeks into his 90-day transformation, but he has already received a lot of support from fans, not to mention his famous friends. Shortly after he announced his plans to get back in shape, several other celebrities decided to join him in working on their “Covid bodies” and get lean in time for summer. Rapper and producer Dr Dre, Black-ish star Anthony Anderson, and comedian Marlon Wayans are all taking part in what has become known as the Big Willie Challenge, where they will attempt to get as fit as possible in 12 weeks without the help of a personal trainer.
