Victoria Beckham Beauty isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating makeup (and skincare, perfume, and wellness products in the future) that fuel and inspire women who are perpetually in motion. It shouldn’t take more than five minutes to create VB’s signature smoky eye. It’s okay for your eyeliner to look a little smudgy.

It’s also about modern luxury. The products are as chic as you’d expect from a line dreamed up by Beckham; cream shadows are housed in sturdy glass and the shadow palettes have a unique brass, tortoiseshell finish. But luxury also means sustainable and non-toxic. The line uses minimal plastic, 100 percent post-consumer waste secondary packaging and corn-based shipping materials that are recyclable and/or biodegradable. Each order is delivered in a reusable canvas pouch, and the brand provides an online guide about recycling the products. As for the ingredients, the brand adheres to the European Commission standard of clean and non-toxic and it’s entirely cruelty-free.

“We’re trying to make the world a prettier place and a kinder place,” Beckham says on the brand’s website. “When [we were] developing all of the makeup we said we wanted it to be incredibly inclusive. And that’s exactly what we’ve done. We all have completely different skin types. Completely different ages. And we’re all wearing the same makeup. What we’ve achieved is so special.”

There are three products in the line at launch intended to mimic Beckham’s iconic smoky eye, with lips launching next month followed by skincare and perfume.

The Smoky Eye Brick

The Smoky Eye Brick comes in four shade ranges: Signature (warm beiges and pinks), Tuxedo (cool grays), Royal (cool blues), and Tweed (warm reds). But inside each brick are four shades pressed together to make for a beautiful and unique palette.

Lid Lustre

Lid Lustre is a cream-to-powder intense pearl eyeshadow perfect for swiping over lids with abandon. To get the highest impact, use the warmth of your finger to swipe the shadow on and them press more on top. They’re available in four easy-to-wear shades: Onyx (black with silver), Blonde (silvery cream), Mink (golden taupe), and Moonlight (silvery navy).

Satin Kajal Liner

In a world of eyeliners designed to be life-proof, Beckham set out to create an eyeliner that was meant to be moved around. After all, her signature beauty look is all about a sooty, smoky, smudgy eye. That’s not to say the eyeliner doesn’t last: once it sets, the formula is waterproof. Available in three shades (black, bronze, and bordeaux), the eyeliner is perfect for quickly swiping across your lid and blending with the attached smudger.

It’s official: Victoria Beckham’s eponymous beauty line is really happening in fall 2019. And it won’t just be a line of minimalist makeup: in the release sent today, Beckham hinted that we can expect makeup, skincare, fragrance, and wellness products.

“I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in makeup, skincare, fragrance and wellness that I feel I need in my own life,” the designer said in the release.

When the line launches this fall, it won’t be found in traditional retail beauty stores like Sephora or Ulta. Instead, Beckham will be selling products through her website VictoriaBeckham.com and use her various social media platforms to directly engage with the VB Beauty man or woman.

“I was going direct to the consumer with regards to fashion before I had a standalone store, so this isn’t new to me,” she says. “Just like I spend so much time in the fitting room getting to know what my customers want to wear, I’m going to be asking women to tell me which products they want me to develop for them in the beauty and wellness arenas. It’s important for me to know what they want.”

Releasing a successful line of makeup with Estée Lauder was just the tip of the beauty iceberg for Victoria Beckham, who just confirmed that she’s working on her own line of skincare products and perfume.

“I loved working with Estée Lauder, I mean what fantastic partners to have. I learned so much, and it was a huge, huge success,” Beckham said on a Facebook Live. “I was very involved with the development of absolute everything. Again, like with the fashion, it was me developing what I wanted in my makeup bag. And so I am actually developing my own color right now as we speak, I’m actually developing my own skincare, and fragrance too.”

Beckham said she wants to create skin products that she—and other women—want to use but can’t yet find. “It’s never about copying what someone else is doing,” she stated. “It’s about what I want—what can’t I find?”

Beckham didn’t divulge any more details about what exactly she’s launching, but she did note that she’s working with top experts in the field to make sure it’s all very scientific—and therefore effective. “I really want to learn, going on this journey I want to educate myself as well,” she said.

When the perfume drops it won’t be the first scent from Beckham. Her husband David currently has 30 perfumes and colognes under his eponymous fragrance label. The scent Intimately Beckham, which debuted in 2006, featured both David and Victoria in the advertising. In January 2018, David Beckham announced the launch of House 99, a men’s grooming brand with 13 products like moisturizer, shaving cream, and hair stylers.
