ICYMI, yesterday was Mother’s Day, which in 2019 means an entire day devoted to filling your followers’ feeds with your best “mommy and me” photos. But no one had a better holiday Instagam post than Gabrielle Union, who kicked off Sunday with a beautiful bare-faced—and super-relatable—selfie.
In the photo, Gabrielle is staring straight at the camera—as is her daughter Kaavia James, whom she’s holding—while wearing a plush gray robe, a hair scarf, and, my personal fave, a crusty dot of pimple cream.

Followers are absolutely loving her sarcasm and realness. “You’re so normal I love you 😘😘,” one user wrote. Another added: “Love how transparent you are. So refreshing.”
Even in her lingering morning ensemble (TBH, I’d wear that robe 24/7 but hey, that’s just me), the America’s Got Talent judge looks flawless.
Although Gabrielle hints at at her mom-level exhaustion (which is very real and very understandable) in the caption, whatever she’s doing to keep her skin looking smooth and poreless is clearly working.
