Strictly Come Dancing’s Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice, should win the competition based on their ‘unique’ chemistry which is akin to Torvill and Dean, according to body language expert Judi James.

The pair are one of the final three couples left in the competition, who could end up going home with the Glitterball Trophy on Saturday night.

Last weekend, they found themselves at the top of the leaderboard after a wonderful Waltz and sizzling Argentine Tango, with the latter giving them a perfect score of 40 points.

After having been one of the favourites since the start, it seems now they will indeed be the ones who become Strictly champions this weekend.

According to Judi, Rose and Giovanni have ’managed to produce a totally unique and spell-binding form of chemistry,’ labelling it an ‘utter joy to watch.’

She went on to say: ‘The chemistry of their relationship is somewhere on the scale between Torvill and Dean during their Olympic years and Ant and Dec now.

‘Like the skaters they provide bonding signals that suggest true but non-sexual romantic love, but their banter and their comedy moments are almost as entertaining as their sensual tango and their impeccable routines out there on the floor.’

Judi went on to say Giovanni has ‘met his match in Rose’ after being linked to several famous faces who he’s met through the show.

She added: ‘Gio’s body language suggests a man rendered delightfully soppy by the gutsy and chirpy Rose and happy to show his tender and more parental side for the first time.

‘Rose’s ‘leap of faith’ defined the level of trust between them, as does the way their torsos appear welded together with a total lack of inhibition as they dance.

‘Their sexual chemistry during their routines is powerfully understated and elegant.’

But she explained how it’s actually their closeness of the dance floor which has produced some of their sweetest body language moments. but it’s

‘Watching how tactile they are together now (Gio’s head-kisses are adorable) and the way they can communicate without an interpreter shows complete empathy beneath the discipline.

‘But it’s Gio’s cute giggling and excited leaping about that mirrors Rose and the way he is reduced to tears when she does compliment him that works the best,’ she concluded.

Judi rated their chemistry top of the remaining three at 10/10, with AJ and Kai in second place at 9/10 and John and JoJo just behind in the third at 8/10.

Rose and Giovanni chatted to Claudia Winkleman about making it through to the final, with the host asking what the EastEnders actress had to say to her partner.

Rose replied: ‘I just want to say thank you so much because you care so much and you put so much passion into it.

‘It made me really determined to give it everything I’ve got because you are the best teammate I’ve ever had in my life.’

But will they end up lifting the Glitterball on Saturday night? It’s going to be a close one!

Strictly Come Dancing: The Final airs on Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
