Arsenal are claimed to have enquired about Olympiacos right-back Omar Elabdellaoui.
The Guardian have stated that the Gunners were interested in the 28-year-old, but were put off by the price quoted.
They state that the Gunners instead opted for Southampton's Cedric Soares because he was a cheaper alternative.

Arsenal have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Chelsea target Dries Mertens from Napoli.
